The report that is available through the links below was generated by the Aleph report: “List Headings Having Multiple Document Records (auth-04).” The report was run against the complete LC file (LCA10) “GEN” index on the P690 server’s production region. The “GEN” index is a compilation of all 1xx and 4xx terms present on the various authority records in the LC file. The “Record No” column of the report is comprised of the authority record’s Aleph system numbers for the LCA10 production database. In order to search these headings you must use a production region client that has been enabled to “connect to” the LCA10 database. Using the appropriate client, you can search these authorities in the Gui-Search (Opac) module by connecting to the “Authority Library-LC” from the “File/Connect to” list and then use the “GEN” index option from the “browse” search’s list of indexes. During our current data migration/review activities, this report may be used to identify terms that may be problematic in your local databases. There are approximately 48,000 terms listed on the report.
