Ant Bibliography is a composite of several ant literature databases. It contains citations for a large part of the world's ant literature (about 20,000 references).

Books in Print--Reed Reference Publishing
Provides complete, publisher-verified information on all U.S. books in print. Includes more than 900,000 new or revised records each year and covers scholarly, technical, popular, adult, juvenile, and reprint titles. Will soon include publisher information. Available in U.S. only, except by case-specific approval by database producer.

Center for Research Libraries
The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) is an international not-for-profit consortium of colleges, universities and libraries that makes available scholarly research resources to users everywhere. CRL is governed by the major research libraries of North America and is funded by fees, grants and contributions. CRL member libraries may borrow the materials found in this database using standard interlibrary loan procedures. Libraries that are not members of CRL may borrow materials for a fee. Check with your interlibrary loan department for more information on availability of materials in this database.

Engineering Index
Engineering Index (also known as Compendex*Plus) corresponds to the print version of Engineering Index . It covers significant engineering and technical literature from journals (over 1500), technical reports, engineering society publications, books, and conference proceedings and papers (over 600). LUIS coverage of Engineering Index begins with 1970 and continues to date. The file is updated monthly. The Ei Thesaurus has been added to the subject headings file to aid subject searching.

ERIC (Resources in Education) and CIJE (Current Index to Journals in Education)--U. S. Department of Education
Educational Resources Information Center has represented the most complete bibliography of educational materials available since 1966. The ERIC database is a guide to published and unpublished sources on thousands of educational topics, with information from RIE (Resources in Education) and CIJE (Current Index to Journals in Education).

Essay and General Literature Index
Essay and General Literature Index (EGLI) indexes essays and articles that have been published in collections as books. It is a good source of literary criticism published in books rather than in periodical articles. Each book indexed is listed separately, in addition to the entries for each essay. For example, the book titled "Behind the throne" has an entry in the index for itself. Each essay (listed with the label "CONTENTS" also has a separate entry.

Florida Documents Index
This online database identifies publications housed in the Florida Documents Collection at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). The collection includes public documents distributed by the State Library of Florida since 1967 under the Florida Public Documents Depository Program. FAU began systematically collecting Florida documents early in 1966 and has since been able to acquire a substantial number of state documents published prior to that date, as well as documents not distributed through the depository program.

Florida Times Union
The Florida Times-Union Index was created by the University of North Florida Library Reference Department. Indexing is limited to Northeast Florida regional news (including Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns Counties), Florida legislative news, and national and state news stories that stir strong local interest. Indexing from October of 1978 through December of 1985 is available through a card catalog in the UNF Library Periodicals Collection.

 

This database is no longer updated. Coverage includes 1986-1997.
 

IAC Academic Index
Indexes articles in approximately 1000 scholarly journals and popular magazines in the arts, humanities, social sciences, science and technology. Abstracts are included for some articles. Provides access to ASCII full text of some articles.

Provides thorough, reliable indexing of over 570 journals, yearbooks, law reviews, and bar association publications. Covers all areas of jurisprudence, including court decisions, legislation, and original scholarship.

LegalTrac
LegalTrac provides indexing for approximately 800 of the most highly regarded legal publications: major law reviews, legal newspapers, law specialty publications, bar association journals, and international legal journals. Each title is selected on the basis of criteria provided by a special advisory committee of the American Association of Law Libraries. LegalTrac also contains law-related articles from over 1,000 additional business and general interest titles. Date range: 1980 to the present.

PsycINFO--American Psychological Association
Covers scholarly literature in these subject areas and more: experimental psychology (human, animal, and comparative), psychosexual behavior, educational psychology, applied psychology, and sports psychology. Includes original research and journal article citations, literature reviews, reports of surveys, case studies, theoretical discussions, bibliographies, and descriptions of tests and apparatus. Indexed materials are selected from more than 1,300 journals published in 50 countries and 28 languages. Most records have abstracts.

Information listed in the records for the companies includes addresses, phone numbers, major products, company status (active, inactive, etc.), and other pertinent information.

Ulrich's International Periodicals Directory is a unique, current, comprehensive and continuously updated source of information on selected periodicals and serials published in the United States and throughout the world. It includes annuals, continuations and conference proceedings, deriving input data from over 80,000 U.S. and foreign serials publishers. Approximately 47,000 discontinued titles from 1974 onward are included. Ulrich's International Periodicals Directory gives you full buying and ordering information on the major output of international serials publishing. Complete bibliographic citations, with buying and ordering information, subject information, and Dewey Decimal Classification Number for all currently available issues are provided.
